What we offer:

  • Developmental editing is for early stage projects. Our editors will work closely with you and focus on big-picture elements such as structure, logic and content planning.

  • Line Editing will focus on logic and meaning at line and paragraph level. Our editors may suggest content related changes to help improve clarity, flow and the tone of your work.

  • Copy Editing is the ‘correcting’ phase of editing. Your editor will make grammar, spelling and punctuation corrections. Some minor rephrasing may also be done at this stage to improve structure and clarity.

  • Proofreading is our lightest form of editing and will involve a thorough read-through of an already edited piece of work. The aim is to pick up on any final superficial errors, such as misspelled words, grammar mistakes or formatting issues.

FAQs

Fees and Finances?

Our pricing is flexible and based on your individual needs. Our editors will work closely with you to agree on a fee that suits your project requirements and more importantly, your personal budget! All payments will be taken via a unique PayPal link.

Quality Assurance?

Our editors are committed to delivering high quality work and will thoroughly review each project, striving to identify any areas for improvement. If you choose to work with us, you’re working with humans, not robots. Yes, our editors are highly skilled experts in their areas, but it’s a reality that little things may get missed. While this is not a common occurrence, we are receptive to feedback and will always work to correct any imperfections.

Subjectivity?

It’s important to remember that an editor’s opinion can be subjective. Different perspectives and tastes can influence feedback and what resonates with one editor may not with another. Our goal is to provide insights that enhance your work while respecting your unique voice and vision.
